Proctored Exams

Q: What are Proctored exams?
As a member of the Consortium of College Testing Centers (CCTC), UAHuntsville’s Instructional & Testing Services proctors examinations for distance learning students at other colleges and universities, as well as community members seeking certain professional certifications and licensures.

Q: How do I set up an appointment for a Proctored Exam?
Complete the Proctored Exam Information Form prior to registration and return it to Testing Services in room 226 of the Business Administration Building, by email at testing@uah.edu or by fax at 256-824-6860. After the form is complete, call Testing Services at 256-824-6725 to set up an appointment.

Q: How far in advance should I make my appointment?
We advise that you contact our office at least 3 weeks before your desired test date to ensure that exam materials are received on time and that the scheduled date is suitable for all parties, particularly if your exam is over 3 hours in length. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate your request without sufficient notice.

Q: How much does a proctored session cost?
The non-refundable fee for this service is $35 for any test up to three hours in length and $10 for each additional hour.

Q: How do I pay for my exam session?
Fees should be paid online at www.uah.edu/testing within 48 hours of setting a test date.
